Can’t afford your deductible? Here are 5 legal ways we help.
After an accident, the deductible is often the only thing standing between you and a repaired car. Some shops "solve" this illegally. We solve it the right way — five legitimate, Florida-legal options that genuinely lower what leaves your pocket.
Instant $500 Promotional Discount
Every insured repair gets an instant $500 promotional discount — a real, clearly-labeled price reduction on your final invoice. For most drivers that covers half or more of a typical deductible.
Flexible Payment Plans
Spread your out-of-pocket portion over manageable payments instead of one painful hit. We set terms that work for your budget before repairs begin — no surprises.
Subrogation Guidance
Not your fault? You may be able to recover your deductible from the at-fault driver's insurer. We walk you through how subrogation works and document your repair to support the recovery.
Free Value-Adds
Rental car coordination, towing coordination, vehicle pickup and delivery, and a full detail at handoff — real costs we absorb so your effective out-of-pocket shrinks.
Transparent, Honest Pricing
We bill your insurer the same fair rates we'd bill you, with every line documented. No inflated estimates, no games — which is why our claims move fast and our supplements get approved.
What we never do — and why it protects you
The straight talk: Florida law prohibits shops from inflating insurance bills to "absorb" or "waive" deductibles — that's insurance fraud, and it puts your claim at risk. Everything we do is a legitimate discount, payment plan, or service we actually provide. That's how it should be.
Deductible questions, answered
Can a body shop legally 'waive' my deductible in Florida?
No — and you should run from any shop that offers it. 'Waiving' a deductible almost always means the shop inflates the bill to your insurance company to cover the difference, which is insurance fraud under Florida law (Fla. Stat. §817.234). It can jeopardize your claim and involve you in the fraud. Legitimate discounts, payment plans, and value-adds — what we do — accomplish the same relief legally.
So how is your $500 discount different from a waiver?
Our $500 promotional discount is a genuine price reduction that appears as a labeled line item on your final invoice. We don't inflate the insurance estimate to offset it — our billed rates to your insurer are the same fair, documented rates regardless. The discount comes out of our margin as a promotion, exactly like any business discount.
What if my deductible is $1,000 and the discount doesn't cover it all?
That's where the other four options stack: a payment plan spreads the remainder over manageable installments, and if the accident wasn't your fault, we'll walk you through recovering your deductible from the at-fault driver's insurer through subrogation. Most customers end up with little or no immediate out-of-pocket burden — legally.
When do I actually pay my deductible?
Typically when you pick up your finished vehicle — your insurer pays their portion directly to us, and you cover the deductible minus your discount. We'll confirm the exact number before repairs begin, so there are zero surprises at pickup.
Does using these options affect my insurance claim?
No. Your claim proceeds normally — we document the damage, negotiate with the adjuster, and repair to spec. How you cover your deductible portion (discounted, financed, or recovered through subrogation) is between you and us, and it's all above-board.
Tell us your deductible. We’ll map your options.
One quick call and you’ll know exactly what your repair costs you out of pocket — usually far less than you fear.
